I really love the Berghaus inflatable camping tent but if I had to think of a downside, I’d say that when it’s packed down, it is quite large and heavy (70lb when packed) – it took up half our car boot.

Yes I know it states the number of items the BATTERY can inflate per charge, but that's not the same as how long the compressor can run before overheating! We were looking for a weekend tent that would be large enough for the odd week here and there that could comfortably accommodate myself, my partner and our two dogs which also means a living are large enough to accommodate our double dog crate without taking up too much of the living area. The tent is very quick to inflate with the supplied pump, *you have to remember to double press the grey button after removing the pump to seal the inflation point (that may be why a previous review said one of the beams deflated during the night ). There are five beams altogether and with our electric pump it took about 90 seconds per tube to pump up.As there are always at least 5 of us (2 adults and 3 kids), we decided that the Air 8 would give us the room and flexibility that we would need.
