It isn''t always easy, though: the little dragon is a bit of a mischief-maker and it doesn''t always understand the meaning of those words. To date, Ali’s evidence-based videos, podcasts and articles sharing insights into the human mind, have reached hundreds of millions of people all around the world.Thrilled to announce a unique live session I'm hosting with Skillshare CEO, Matt Cooper, this Tuesday 30th at 5pm GMT. In fact, if it hadn’t been for this book, I probably wouldn’t have set up my YouTube channel LINK because the blog gave me the confidence to ‘show my work’ and overcome that fear that I discussed earlier of self-promotion and narcissism. Lately, most of the stories I’ve been thinking of are from my days as a junior doctor pulling long nights on a hospital ward.
I’d never really experienced anything like that before – suddenly something that had been going so well was on the decline and this caused me to question and doubt myself. Motivation factors are the aspects of our jobs that challenge us and offer us opportunities for personal growth. It reminds me that the revenue isn’t important – I’m enjoying what I’m doing, I’ve got amazing things on the side of my full time job and I’m helping people.Excitement is the more practical synonym for happiness, and it is precisely what you should strive to chase.
