Harry Potter is a great favourite of my grandchildren but we were all disappointed and frustrated by this game. Played a great deal with our 8 year old who had no problem understanding this game, and could have played it age 7 (despite the 9-14 suggested age range). Wheels on the board actually move to reveal secret passages, hidden staircases, and even the Dark Mark. It is not just one of those replica games where the names are changed, the game has new dimensions with dark marks and secret passages that change.

Play as Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna or Neville and try to discover WHO did it, WHAT spell or item they used, and WHERE the student was attacked.

A known Harry Potter character disappears and you have to guess WHO did it out of known Harry Potter "baddies", WHERE did they do it chosen from recognisable haunts of Hogwarts and with WHAT was it done from known Harry Potter objects etc.

The board itself requires you to assemble lots of cardboard circles to make turning rooms in the game, however they are quite easy to split.
