About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G. I tend to pay more attention to the characters and vehicles than I do with the various gadgets on the show, if we're being totally honest. Accessories include interchangeable heads, ears and hands, hat, fur cloak, banner, four t okage s , S. Back when the 2012 TMNT show was airing, Playmates released an exclusive Usagi Yojimbo figure at SDCC with an exlusive hat and Tokage and it was pretty rare and expensive to get now, so I’m so happy to have those two things for this version of the samurai rabbit. He's articulated in all the places you might expect—the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, knees, and ankles.

They're not characters who are addressed very often, despite their regular presence on the show, so it's nice to finally get accurate representations of all of them. These rabbits are selling fast and can be found right here; stay tuned for a standard Space Usagi later on.I always learned that when it comes to words ending in "o," you pluralize living things by adding "-es" (tomatoes, grottos) but you only add "-s" to non-living things (radios, Cheerios).

Each of them has a clear plastic figure stand (they do have some really tiny feet, particularly Dask and Kala) and each of them also has a hoverboard to ride. I recommend grasping the up-pointing ears by the base, since mine came separated where the ears meet the base, and I had to glue them back together. The swords vary in length in the show depending on the scene, so part of me wishes they were a bit longer and thinner, but these look good proportionally with Usagi.

At first, I had thought NECA had made a mistake, until I realized that the stretchy belt that comes in the soft goods baggie is meant to hold the sheathes in place. The cloak has a wire embedded in the hood to help you position it as you desire, and it comes with a cloth belt so you can tie it shut. The new NECA sculpt has captured his animated look exquisitely, right down to the single eyebrow (actually a scar) over his left eye. Includes hat, cloak, tokage, katana, wakizashi, katar, kunai, and interchangeable heads, ears and hands!Remarkably, I didn't have any problems with joints that were frozen or sealed shut with paint, which I think is a first for a NECA figure for me. The weapon holsters for other toys like Traag and Granitor have always seemed too fragile to me, so this was a good alternate design approach.
