He adds with a smile: “That is always good fun.” Foxy is the first to admit he still can’t believe how much his life has changed since SAS started six years ago and became a household name. Having said that, Mr. Fox also seems to be a terrible father/partner. He goes through relationships in a manner that at least seems as hectic as his life in the SBS, first one partner and then another and then another. He has a daughter with his wife, the daughter has medical problems, but that is all we ever hear about her. Is he involved in her life? Does he carry out his fatherly duties as he wrestles with PTSD? Does he have any relationship at all with her? The reader will not know after they read this book. He has a second daughter with another partner and that is the last you hear of that daughter. For all I know, Mr. Fox may be the world's greatest father, but from reading this book, his daughters come across as an afterthought. Fox is one of the original presenters and directing staff on SAS: Who Dares Wins, a reality television programme where contestants experience a gruelling training course loosely based on a condensed version of the special forces selection process. Fox stars alongside former special forces soldiers Ant Middleton, Matthew ‘Ollie’ Ollerton, Mark ‘Billy’ Billington, and Jay Morton. The programme first broadcast in 2015 is produced by Channel 4, and aired its fifth season in February 2020. In 2019 the first season of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins aired which also stars Fox. Adeleke was born into riches in Nigeria, but following the death of his father and the unjust seizing of his family’s wealth by the Nigerian Government, Remi and his family relocated to Bronx, New York in 1987. After years of making “regrettable decisions”, he joined the Navy in 2002 and later joined the Navy SEALs. Although, Adeleke nearly didn’t make it to the military. “I had two warrants out for my arrest – but the recruiter who was also from the Bronx, took a chance on me”, he explains.
