About this deal

And, before buying a webcam, it is worth searching to determine if the chosen hardware and conferencing platforms play together nicely as not all do. The one software tool we had the most issues with was Microsoft Teams, unsurprisingly. We can’t in good conscience blame Logitech here. Anyone with a working knowledge of Windows is likely to have encountered a change that breaks existing functionality, occasionally never to be fixed. Given a choice, we’d rather have a streamed meeting in 1080p that was uninterrupted than one in 4K that stuttered repeatedly. The Logitech Brio 4K Webcam is a true gem for anyone seeking an exceptional video calling experience. This webcam excels in every aspect, from video quality to advanced features.

Today, with so many people working from home, at the office, or even a combination of both, there’s a big need for a good quality webcam. When you’re on a call, you want to look your best, and make a good impression. Some of that good impression relates to how good you look and how good you sound. One of the key components highly used, and valued by those working remotely included the webcam. This small device not only allows you to be seen, but heard as well on video calls. Words like Zoom, Teams, WebEx and others are now more common to our vocabularies. The internet is flooded with webcam options, which can make it hard to know which model is best for your hard earned dollar. People know and trust Logitech products However, that’s not possible typically without removing the camera from what it’s mounted to, pointing it at the object you want to share (a document for example), and hoping you hold it steady, and that it’s in focus so everyone sees it clearly. This can be challenging and not typically a great far-end user experience. Problems like these are resolved with the new Logitech Brio 4k.No matter what your situation, the Logitech Brio 4k has you covered. You see, it has a patented technology called RightLight 3 that auto adjusts to compensate for your lighting conditions, from natural light, low light or high contrast. And, in my tests, this feature worked extremely well. The webcam comes with a 7.2-foot USB-A cable (longer than the 5- or 6-feet cable length on many Logitech webcams) and the webcam also supports USB-C.

When you want a nice, well framed image of yourself, you’d select the 60 degree view. If you want more of your surroundings in the video image, you’d go with 78, and if you want to bring in a friend or two, there’s the 90 degree view option. All of these are easily accessed and can be changed at will. Multiple Mounting Options: Whether you prefer to clip it to your laptop or use the included tripod mount, the Brio offers multiple mounting options for added flexibility.
