The coils are easily replaced from the bottom by aligning the flat edge of the coil to the arrow indicator on the bottom of the pod. The Caliburn G is one of those rare MTL pod vapes that don’t need high nicotine to shine. I can see it becoming a huge hit in the EU where the TPD imposes a hard limit at 20 mg. But regardless of where you are on the map, the G is a vape I can highly recommend. It is a great performer that’s very easy to operate, and I’d advise anyone reading this to give it a try—that goes for both beginners and experienced vapers. Build Quality The Caliburn G is now an AIO, so there are a couple of steps added when first setting it up (or replacing coils). But it is still very easy to use.Another upgrade from the original Caliburn is the sub ohm. 0.8 ohm coils which allow you to vape at 18W; a warmer, more power MTL vape with a satisfying throat hit. The 1 ohm Caliburn G Coil and 1.2 ohm Caliburn G2 Coils will give you a satisfying, tight, cooler MTL draw at lower wattage so your battery lasts longer. The Caliburn G has a maximum wattage of 15W that allows you to really crank up the heat, delivering brilliant flavour and getting the most out of your e-liquid. I can’t see any magnets so the pod must be held in by friction alone. There doesn’t appear to be any catches either. But saying that the pod is held in firmly and requires a decent tug to pull out so I have no worries that it will decide to leap for freedom on its own. In fact, the only people I wouldn’t recommend it to are those who fell in love with the airflow of the original Caliburn. Both the airflow options of the G are tighter than the airflow of the original, so if you belong in this category you should look elsewhere. But if you enjoy a flavorful MTL pod vape, and found the Caliburn a bit too loose, this may be endgame for you. That’s the first vape I grab when heading out of my place and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
