About this deal

Troubled, and rightfully so, youth are drawn together by unseen forces finding relationships of all kinds through each other. Father figures and little brothers tugging at heart strings you didn't know you had. The war between truth and reality you will have with yourself will be taxing. Since it's Juliette, there was still some (a lot) emotional garbage and reasoning but she eventually found the right guy and the wrong guy turned into DEFINETELY the wrong guy (called it) and even though it ended kind of before the real action probably would have started (what with taking over the world and such) it ended on a good note. As I touched on earlier, there is more than just romantic love in this series. There’s love between friends and love between family, which was equally as sweet as the romance parts of the series. Her and Warner being inlove, Adam gets his shit together, and the world gets fixed, (Or maybe not). Shadow Me: Kenji's perspective. The everything-is-cheerful-when-he's-around guy of the series.. has a dark secret?

I know I stopped during the third book, but I wish Juliette’s character development had been better. I wish her change had been more obvious. I wish her arc had been about how touch isn’t the only important thing in life. She was just starting to grow from her old mindset in the third book (due to Warner no doubt) Mafi could have used the people at Omega Point and her problems with Adam to further this—to say: I am powerful and capable and I’ve spent this long fighting for myself, I don’t need to spend entire books stressing about the first guy who liked me. I know that’s kind of Warner’s message to her, but we’re two books in and I’m already bored. The fact that he can touch her and cares about her should have come in later, after she'd delved into this belief for herself. Warner told her everything she needed to be and she did it. She never thought for herself (no, getting angry and yelling when you disagree with something is not thinking for herself). È un distopico o no? Sooo, to be honest, I have no idea how many stars I should give this. Ignite Me probably three. Unravel me... One? Two? I really can't say and it always pains me to give less than three stars because I know how much work, how much love, how much blood, sweat and tears go into a book like that and I feel really bad but it's just MY opinion and obviously most people loved the series but I really couldn't stand that book and.....

Diaries & Calendars

Tahereh Mafi is a great author. Seriously, her writing style is amazing and her characters three-dimensional, believable people. Imagine Me: Well, very fast paced, and multiple time skips. Anderson was such a glorious villain, Kenji and Warner brotherly love is everything, and an amazing fight no one saw coming. No one knows why Juliette has such incredible power. It feels like a curse, like too great a burden for one person alone to bear. But The Reestablishment sees her as an opportunity. As a deadly weapon. And they'll stop at nothing to shape her into what they want.

Love love love this book series. And although I know there are a lot of negative aspects about it and that it isn't perfect, I still think it was pretty good. Forgiveness is important in life, for sure, but I don't think it plays a role here. There are some things that are unforgivable. And honestly? If Warner genuinely wanted to develop himself and become a better person, it should have been with someone else. To have Juliette degrade herself and regress entirely in her character development to the point that she falls for her abuser was disturbing on a number of insane levels.

No one knows why Juliette has such incredible power. It feels like a curse, like too great a burden for one person alone to bear. But The Reestablishment sees her as an opportunity. As a deadly weapon. And they’ll stop at nothing to shape her into what they want. world building: the world's aesthetic was really satisfying and beautiful, but the world building overall wasn't as interesting as I wanted it to be. Like the novels, if you wish. But at least like them knowing the facts: Warner is abusive. Juliette and Warner are in an abusive relationship. Fracture Me: Adam's perspective from the first war. I'm being bias to Warner at this point, so I thought this was irrelevant to the progress of the series. Mafi did a fantastic job at relaying the fact that Juliette is… troubled in the head at the start of the book. the numbers the repetitive thoughts the contradicting thoughts—sometimes all at once—was a very good idea. the crossing out of words/sentences to show how she’s at odds with herself was cool too. I just really liked it. It read fast. It’s original. It reignited a fresh desire in myself to write with creative intent, not just to get the point across.Juliette, the main character throughout, is a strong compassionate and full force of a female character. She fights with her emotions and her mentality thinking that she is what everyone's called her her entire life. A monster. Except for one person, Adam Kent, who didn't believe this to be true.

We are so thrilled to present to you… THE SHATTER ME DELUXE SET, brought to you in collaboration with @ tahereh and @ electricmonkeybooks!Juliette has never fought for herself before. But when she’s reunited with the one person who ever cared about her, she finds a strength she never knew she had. somewhere in here Warners actions get 'justified' it was a cheap way of switching the ML. Also am I the only one who thinks Anderson named Juliette Juliette because her and warner kept falling in love? (Romeo and Juliette) I Found that funny, lol. Ero così fiera di Juliette. L’ho vista crescere, cambiare e maturare. To be honest, the Shatter Me series is one of the best series I have read in a while. The characters, twists, plot, and storyline are all up to mark, but the way Tahereh Mafi describes every single minute of detail is what fascinates me the most.
