About this deal

The final scene, of the cast all together around the Christmas tree, is also a winner – as is the fade out on that childhood picture of Mr. Conrad hanging on the wall. You’ll Cry… ? What do you do when you’ve been given a second chance at life and you don’t know what to do with it?” Willa is a nurse who helped Finn's dad in his dying days, it is only because his dad left her some money in his will that Finn knows anything about Willa. His dad also gave Willa a ring and bought her a trip to Marietta, Montana for christmas before he died. That aside and if you forget why they're brought together, the romance is really nice and I like the connections that Dave makes with both Mother and Child.

Willa is crushed. She says she was never interested in the money and that their father talked about how much he loved both of them and regretted the choice he made. But that all changes when he meets Willa and her son at Bramble House. It turns out Scout is a huge fan of “Everyday Sam” books, which Knightly coincidentally happens to illustrate. Perhaps the ending is a touch on the pat side, common with Hallmark. Do have to agree too that one character's change of heart does not make much sense (if there was any explanation provided it did escape me), is revealed too suddenly. The story was good. At first, Finn comes across as a bit mean and vindictive, ready to fight our noble single mother Willa for the inheritance that he felt he was cheated out of. But we eventually realize that it's not about the money for him. It's about the bitter feelings he still harbors because of his father abandoning his family when he was young. As an illustrator of children's books, we know he is a good guy at heart. It only takes a few interactions with the genuinely nice Willa and her adorable son scout to bring out his good side. I loved how the relationship developed naturally between Finn and Willa and Scout. Nothing was forced. They also avoided the stupid faux enemy phase at the start of their relationship. Most romance movies seem to require that, but it usually comes across as kind of ridiculous. It's perfectly fine to have a guy and a girl just like each other from the start, without all the silly confrontation. Finn & Willa were quite the pair in this story. Both kept secrets, and both fell in love without meaning to. They were also entertaining individuals. Finn’s need to know what happened to his father while also being true to himself really drew me in. Willa’s past & fears made her real and into someone that I truly cared for. Scout broke my heart. His little fighting nature was the perfect addition to this Christmas tale. And one can’t forget Kris Krinkle. This secondary character definitely made Christmas so much sweeter.

Talking about the filming process, Autumn Reeser (Willa) told Starry Mag, “We shot on this horse farm and it was really quaint. We had a lot of fake snow to make it look as Christmas as possible. I liked it because I didn’t have to be as cold as I usually am.” British Columbia is frequently used in Hallmark movies. The shooting usually takes place in summer, despite most of them being Christmas movies. The cast and crew put in maximal effort to tap into the wintry and magical vibe Christmas usually emanates because of the fact that these movies are produced way ahead of the holiday season. A Bramble House Christmas Cast

About halfway through the movie, Finn ends up discovering the true reason why his father gave Willa the money: because Scout nearly died and she ended up deep in debt due to medical bills. As for the supporting cast, nobody is “just there” aside from Savannah (Lyla Marlow), Sage’s daughter. Everyone else has a moment (or moments) to shine – save for Molly, who we’ll talk about in a minute. ? That Christmas Feeling ? Her character is all over the place. In the beginning, it’s all “Finn angry!” while Molly’s like, “chill, dude, we were never going to be in the will anyway.” The character Finn looked good, but with a bad intention in his mind makes a villain, at least in the beginning. The actor who played it kind looked expressionless, even when he smiled. As the story went on, he looked better. Maybe I got used to it. Because slowly his behaviour has changed, leaving us to expect, how he would react at the end. You know without making something into a complicate, there's no end twist. In this, it was his identity and purpose of meeting Willa. That character makes this tale possible. But Willa is the one mysterious until she reveal about her life, particularly the secret about her son. On the other hand, there is a lot to love here. Autumn Reeser is immensely engaging as Willa, a character that is more identifiable than most female lead characters, she doesn't overdo it while also having none of the going through the motions quality. David Haydn-Jones is even better, doing sympathetic in a very nuanced way and it is very easy to see the character's appeal. The Hallmark festive films are very variable when it comes to the chemistry between their two leads, 'A Bramble House Christmas' is an example of the warm and genuine kind that develops realistically if not perhaps deeply. The rest of the cast are strong too, with a scene stealing Teryl Rothery and adorable Liam Hughes particularly impressing.I would say that this is the best book of the series which is kinda of sad, because it leaves us with questions unanswered which annoyed me.

Egged on by his bitter mom and concerned sisters, Finn Conrad goes to Marietta, Montana to see who this woman is and what hold she had on his father.... I ended up enjoying this book almost as much as the movie. I have to admit that the actors brought the characters to life and added just the right amount of emotion to their roles. I felt a little more connected to the characters on the screen than I did while reading the book, but the book is still very good. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the movie stayed pretty true to the book. There were a few things left out, or changed of course, but most of the book, and the same lovely message, was there. Both spend the next 3 weeks hiding their secrets while having this sense of something special for each other...Will new trust be broken and the opportunity to experience authentic love be lost... Scout became friends with Finn, but Finn had ulterior motives and was lying to Scout and Willa for most of the movie. How can we stay mad at Finn after he promises to make everything up to her and Scout, promising the best Christmas, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, Arbor Day and even National Ice Cream Day. “Any day that you will let me make special for you.”Willa and her six-year-old son Scout are spending Christmas at Bramble House. Finn soon finds that she is not the gold digger he expected, that the secret she’s hiding actually is about Scout and that’s why this Christmas is so important…

Willa Fairchild ( Autumn Reeser), a caretaker, is on her way to the Bramble House bed and breakfast, with her son, Scout ( Liam Hughes). Finn ends up bonding with both of them – making gingerbread houses, taking a carriage ride, ice skating, and helping Scout make his first book as a Christmas present for Willa. This leads to Willa leaving Bramble House with Scout, but not before they stop at the town Christmas tree for one last look. This gives Finn and Molly the chance to catch up with them – and for Finn to successfully plea with Willa for a second chance. Our Review of “A Bramble House Christmas” ?? The Nice List ??

So is Finn Knightly ( David Haydn-Jones). He tells his sister, Molly ( Julia Benson) that he plans to confront Willa, find out the truth, and serve her with an injunction. We even learn a lot about the life of character who we never see on-screen, other than in a framed picture as a child at Bramble House – Greg Conrad – why he abandoned his wife and children, his regret, and his attempt at redemption through Willa. A Bramble House Christmas’ was shot over three weeks in July 2017. Although the film is set in the town of Bramble in Oregon, it was actually shot in Vancouver, British Columbia. Now, let’s dive into the specific filming details! Metro Vancouver, British Columbia I think I connect with the characters better when they are a creative type and so I like that he's a book illustrator and how that channels the story.
