About this deal

For general purpose control of gas valves, zone valves, circulation pumps, ventilators, boilers etc. in heating or cooling systems. Thanks to you both for your advice. As you say, namsag, I haven't got the first clue about these things so i won't chance messing about with it when it works fine as it is! The Honeywell T6360 is a programmable electronic room thermostat used to control heating within a domestic or small commercial environment. It works by measuring the air temperature within its location and then maintaining it at the level set by the user. This thermostat is designed to improve overall energy efficiency by allowing users to easily control the temperature of their space.

Thanks everyone, super helpful as I can't say this is a subject matter I know anything about! Hmm perhaps a prog stat might be a little bit of overkill then as do all my programming on the boiler at the moment and that all seems to be working fine.I think I am going to return the wireless tado thermostat to replace it for a wired version to replace my wired Honeywell thermostat. I've got same honeywell at the mo. YELLOW wire going into 1, BLUE into 2, RED into 3, and an earth. This would leave me with an internet bridge plugged into my router, a wired thermostat and 8 Smart radiator thermostats. Would this be sufficient to heat rooms independently? There are several Wiser starter kits. For a straight swap of an existing wired thermostat on a combi boiler (ie one without a separate hot water cylinder) you should have the 'wired version' of the Wiser. With the wired version then the wires from terminals 1 & 3 of the Honeywell T6360B simply go to COM and NO at the Wiser instead. And the existing boiler time control is set to be permanently 'on' 24/7 allowing the Wiser to take full control.

You can use a wireless thermostat with a combi and they frequently are. For example in a new installation, or with one that already has an existing wireless thermostat. The wired receiver can be connected at any convenient point, usually next to the boiler, and then the thermostat can be positioned in the best location without the need to run a new cable out to it. Improved easy-to-wire terminals with built-in conductor clamps to ensure wiring is retained securely I am confused to where the existing cables (yellow, red, blue) should be attached to into the Honeywell. Whilst the Sunvic circuit diagram shows the Connector Numbers 1, 3 and 4 being used, the Honeywell circuit diagram show the Connector Numbers 1, 2 and 3 to be used. This shows only three wires rather than the four I have. It seems obvious that Brown (Live) should go to terminal 1 and Blue (Neutral) to terminal 2. But I'm unclear on the other two wires, especially as the green/yellow one - which I'd normally expect to be Earth - appears not to be used as Earth here. The T6360 thermostat is compatible with a wide range of heating and cooling systems, including gas and oil boilers, electric heating systems, and air conditioning units. It can be easily installed and wired, making it a convenient choice for both professional installers and DIY enthusiasts.I've just replaced my old Honeywell T6360 room stat as the old one stopped working. I'm not very experienced in matters of electricity so to make things easy for myself, I simply bought a brand new one (i.e. the same model) so i could just copy over the wiring. All went fine. Just one query - the new Honeywell T6360 has a small LED on it with is illuminated when the unit "calls for heat". I was just wondering if there is an easy way of using my existing wiring to connect up the LED, or if additional wiring is needed? I would like to lower the temperature that the thermostat is set to turn on the heating, but having removed the front cover, it isn't obvious how to do this. lots and lots of options, from the Honeywell DT90e, but I'd suggest you consider a programmable stat since you are going this far. These will take care of both the temps and timings, so' they'll run yer hoosie. Honeywell Home T6360 mains voltage room thermostat designed for use in central heating systems. It can also switch electrical heating loads up to 10 A (240 V) and be used for cooling applications.
