The scarred man accepts the kitten and takes it home, where it's revealed he got his scars from cat scratches. Is like me looking at a dress n saying "this dress has flowers on it", I see n notice the flowers but I don't make it the core of the dress.

In a book that's much more comedy than horror, the creatures are genuinely grotesque; while the story may be funny for readers, it's no laughing matter for poor Mieruko. That's more than just a pat statement in the case of samurai Konosuke Ryudo, who has suffered (as he sees it) from an inability to interact with metal since childhood. To be honest, the summary made me think that this was more or less a girl Natsume (as in book of friends). Frieren is still going strong continuing from last season, but The Dangers in My Heart is the one stealing the spotlight!
